Sender terms

Version 1 · 11 September 2026

These terms cover the content you provide when you send notifications through PingDock. You must expressly accept them before sender access is issued. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to accept on its behalf.

Your content remains yours

You retain your ownership of the notification content, names, logos and links you provide. These terms do not transfer ownership to PingDock.

Permission to deliver your updates

You grant PingDock a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, format, transmit and display that content solely to operate the service and deliver it to your intended clients. This includes processing by the service providers needed to host and deliver notifications.

This permission does not allow PingDock to use your content or branding for unrelated marketing. Formatting for delivery must not change the meaning of your content.

You must have the necessary rights

You represent that you own the content or have the rights and permissions needed to provide it and grant this licence. This includes permission to use names, logos, notification text and linked material in the way you use them.

If you connect a third-party service or forward its alerts, you must be authorised to access and share that information and comply with that service’s applicable terms. Access to a service alone does not establish permission to redistribute all of its content.

Send responsibly

Send only lawful, accurate and authorised content to the intended clients. Do not send spam, misleading messages, malicious links or content that infringes another person’s rights. Respect each client’s connection choices and notification preferences, and do not try to bypass them.

When sending ends

When your sender access ends, PingDock will stop using your content for new deliveries. Content already delivered may remain with its recipients. Storage, deletion and any continued processing needed for existing records remain subject to the applicable privacy and retention arrangements and legal requirements.
