Set up PingDock on Android
Set up PingDock with Chrome so business updates arrive on your Android phone.
Before you start
You need a PingDock invitation link from the business you want to hear from. Open it on the phone where you want to receive updates.
1. Open your invitation
Open the invitation in Chrome. Check the business name and the types of updates it wants to send, then tap Continue.
2. Add the business
Review the connection and tap Add business.
3. Turn on notifications
Tap Turn on notifications, then choose Allow when Android or Chrome asks. Keep Chrome notifications enabled in Android Settings.
4. Install PingDock (recommended)
In Chrome, open the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Confirm the prompt, then open PingDock from your Home Screen.
5. Save your connections
If passkeys are available, create one so you can restore your connections after changing phones or clearing browser data. You can also do this later from the Device screen.
You’re ready
When you see Notifications are on, tap Done. Updates will appear in PingDock and as Android notifications.
If something doesn’t work
- Invitation expired: ask the business for a fresh link.
- No install option: keep using PingDock in Chrome; notifications can still work in a supported browser.
- Notifications are missing: open Android Settings → Apps → Chrome (or PingDock) → Notifications and allow notifications.
Still stuck? Email support@pingdock.app. Include your Android version, phone model, browser and what happened. Never send a password, passkey or private invitation link.
